Waitress and employees were so nice and accommodating for a big group, gave excellent service and the food was AMAZING!!! Everybody loved it. A lot of good vegan/vegetarian options. 100% recommend :)

Absolutely lovely food, despite meh atmosphere. This is the second amazing Indian place we’ve been to with meh atmosphere. Maybe that’s a thing? Regardless, my spouse and I ordered some dishes we’ve never had before, just delicious! I really appreciated the waitress’ guidance on spice levels—I love super spicy, and she asked “Indian spicy or Canadian?” I said super Canadian spicy, she joked “so, 5/10 Indian Spicy?” I got that and it was perfect. Just enough to make me sweat a bit, but not too spicy to ruin the flavour. We’ll be back!

If I could give this jem of a spot 10 stars, I would! Service was out of this world from the owner! She went above and beyond, from explaining Canadian spicy to Indian spicy, and how they mix together with the flavours and dishes we got. My husband was able to get his spice fix as well, as they gave him a taste of how spicy Indian spice could be. In the pictures, you will also see their clay oven working hard, making naan! I asked to see this, and they were so welcoming. Food was out of this word! It was flavourful, hot, and just the way it should taste. Both my husband and I were so delighted with our choices! Portions were a good size, and we should have shared one dish between the two of us. Don't skip out on dessert! It was the best ending to an already delicious meal. Now we have leftovers for tomorrow We will be back without a doubt, and will bring friends!!

Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian food with wonderful personal service! They could fine tune the spiciness to our tastes. Even the fresh naan bread was incredible. We met the cook/owner and his family, making it an even more memorable experience.

Have you ever eaten food that tastes like magic? This place is pure magic on a plate. Although I am not a vegetarian I prefer vegetarian samosa. They represent the best I ever had .their butter chicken is so delicious. Go have the best Indian fare .you will ever taste from this hard working family you will not be disappointed.

Punjabi Clay Oven is amazing. We've been doing take out and dine in for over 8 years and we've NEVER been disappointed. This is a family business you MUST visit. Try the Navrattan Korma. Chef's kiss!

Great Indian restaurant in the West end of Ottawa! Very friendly service, and love that you can choose the spicy level based on either Canadian or Indian standards each dish contained a good amount of meat and/or veggies and everything tasted fresh! Tip: One serving of rice is enough to share between 2-3 people, especially if you’re getting naan as well!

This family owned restaurant truly is.a Gem in Kanata! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile. The dishes were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant whether a romantic dinner for two, dinner with family or friends, or just picking up some take out to enjoy at home. You won’t be disappointed!
